Garage Inspiration

I was checking out a few books from the library the other day when the librarian and I started talking about the unusual topic of garage organization. She mentioned how she couldn’t park her cars in the garage because it was full of boxes and she was storing used indoor/outdoor carpet in there.

You’re probably well aware that the librarian’s circumstance isn’t unusual. Homeowners everywhere are using their garage as storage instead of parking for their vehicles. This wouldn’t be so bad except that 99% of the time, they’re storing items they don’t need, don’t want, or that don’t work. Not to mention the fact that one of their most expensive possessions is being left unprotected outside.

Can you relate?

If you have an underutilized garage, this is the PERFECT time of year to start cleaning it out! If you’re one of the few who actually park in the garage, it’s a great time to spruce it up a bit.

We could all use a little garage inspiration.

If you spend much time on Pinterest, you may think the only way to have a useful garage is to have one that’s spotless, stocked with storage cabinets and fully decorated. Tis not the case! But, it never hurts to have a little inspiration! If you’re ready to clean out and update your garage, check out a few of these links for some great garage ideas:
