My favorite place to clean is the bathroom- the kitchen is too big and overwhelming, but the bathroom is tiny and manageable (seriously, it’s a 5×8′ room!) Unfortunately my whole house needs a deep cleaning…

My least favorite place to clean is…..things that get really dirty, like a fireplace. They never seem to get clean enough, and it is overwhelming when I try to get them spotless.

I generally hate spring cleaning but this year I am cleaning and packing at the same time. This challenge is great for me because I am decluttering, cleaning then putting all the clean items in boxes. This helps me break things down into doable areas and I see the results. Thanks!!

I like cleaning bathrooms because it’s a self-contained, water-friendly space. I can do it really fast, and it makes a big difference!

My least favorite place to clean is the kitchen because it’s a never ending battle to keep it clean. I have textured tile, so I have to get on my hands and knees to clean it-swifter doesn’t cut it. Don’t get me started on the grout, it always looks dirty no matter how often I clean it.
I never could stand cleaning toilets. It got even worse when I got married. And now I have a son. While I can’t wait to get him out of diapers, I know that it’s going to make toilet cleaning that much more miserable.

My least favorite place to tackle spring cleaning is my home office. Why is it that any other time of year the stacks of papers do not contain anything sentimental? Funny how every year I need to allow at least another couple hours in this room for reminiscing. Crazy phenomenon.
I enjoy cleaning the bathrooms because they are smaller (meaning more manageable) *and* they shine up so nicely. I LOVE having a sparkly, good-smelling bathroom after only a half hour or less of cleaning. I hate, however, sweeping and washing the kitchen/dining area/laundry/mudroom floors. With two small boys, they floors are always covered with food crumbs, LEGOs, and just general dirt. (Tackling those particular floors is on my list for today! Wish me luck!)

My least favorite place to clean are the kids rooms! I tend to get sidetracked looking at all of their things and thinking about how fast time flies!! At least I try to organize their artwork and papers while I am in there! :)

My least favorite place to clean is the bathroom. Ours is pretty small but it seems every single surface needs cleaned and sanitized. lol I also dread cleaning all the windows in the house (16 of them)…. thankfully they’re the easy clean ones but still- ugh!
My least favorite place to clean is our home office aka the Dump Room. Everything that we don’t know what to do with goes into that room lol. It’s awful.

I love to clean the kitchen. I love to get in there and really clear off my counter tops. I moved my toaster (which I still use almost every day) to the laundry room/extra pantry shelves. I love having it out of the kitchen and it is only a couple of steps to put it away when I am done…and it ensures that I have to dump the crumbs out of it before I put it away, so it stays a bit cleaner and less of a fire hazard.
I have to admit that I like cleaning the bathrooms. To the point that I would rather do that than do the laundry. The reason is because there is a light at the end of the tunnel when cleaning the bathroom, the laundry seems to never end!

@Sara ~ I use an old flannel pillow slip to clean the fan blades. I saw this tip somewhere…and I can’t remember where…but I just used it today and it works great!
1~ Use a step stool to be high enough.
2 ~ Gently lift slip over the top of the blade.
3 ~ “Fit” slip over the blade by pulling it tight in the middle.
4 ~ Firmly slide the slip down the blade.
5 ~ All the dust and dirt goes into the pillow slip and not in the air or the floor.
6 ~ Finish dusting the blade with your cleaner or polish.
7 ~ Just toss the pillow slip in the washing machine after a good shake or two outside.
Flannel works great because it has the fuzzy fibers to help pick up the dust. I suppose you could piece a few micro-fiber cloths together and make your own if you want. Thrift stores often have pillow slips cheap.

I HAAATE cleaning out the storage room. We do it every spring because things just get tossed in there throughout the year. It’s a horrible, scary place with spiders. *shudders* I hate it. lol
I do not particularly like cleaning the top of the fridge. It becomes greasy and the dust sticks to it.
THe obvious are my bathrooms with 2 teenage boys, but I also have to say “their bedrooms”! They are both packrats and in small bedrooms. I cant see their dressers to dust, there is stuff all over their floors to even run a vacuum. UGH. I hate it. Then they yell at me when I pile all the junk from the floors to their bed to I can clean. Sorry, get over it and put it away.

I find cleaning in general very tedious. You do it and then you just have to do it again. I actually like to clean the bathroom. Small room, short time, visible results. My very least favorite place to clean is the garage and if you saw my garage you would believe it.

Dishes are my least favorite household chore, because they are NEVER done. But the bathrooms are my least favorite room to clean. It takes so long and most of the spots you clean are hidden, so you don’t get to show it off very well. :)

Floors are my biggest worry. I have pets in the house and I’m always running around frantic worrying that my carpets/tile are dirty. Needless to say my family thinks I’m nuts…lol…oh well I’d rather be nuts than have dirty floors.

I really used to not mind cleaning the bathroom when I was growing up – actually my mom would have me do it since I didn’t mind it. But, we had all girls and my dad was the only guy. SO the bathroom was not that bad to clean. Now, I am in a different situation. I have an 18 year old stepson and a son and my husband to contend with. My daughter and I are outnumbered. Because of this, the bathrooms are NASTY.
I HATE to clean the toilet now and acutally break out the rubber gloves to do so.

The best part of spring cleaning is taking down all the curtains and drapes and giving them a good wash. The combination of fresh spring air and clean, freshly pressed linens makes the house smell better than any air freshener on the market!
I spring clean every March so all my unwanted items go in our annual Relay For Life Yard Sale- IN Memory of my father and now in honor of my sister being a survivor of breast cancer.
My oven is my least favorite thing to clean.
Least favoriate cleaning chore is washing walls and washing blinds! Hate it , but we have to do it!
I don’t mind cleaning the bathtub, but I hate the toilet. Remoldeling the bathroom so it should be alot easier to clean.
The bathroom specifically the toilet is my least favorite place to clean.
The bathroom is the worst. I always try to pawn it off on my husband.

Pretty much all of it is my least favorite place to clean. I REALLY hate doing dishes, and picking up toys and then having my kids get them right back out is enough to make me want to scream.

My least favorite cleaning task is dusting the bedroom furniture. Dust is my nemesis.

I love cleaning my 4 little girls rooms, but hate cleaning our garage! :) Our washer broke down, and our dryer is on it’s last leg. I am not looking forward to more months at the laundry mat…so I am hoping for a miracle! :) Best of luck to everyone!

I can’t quite Spring Clean until I’m home, but I CAN tell you my least favorite thing to do: dust ceiling fans (and dusting in general)!!! Once I notice how bad they are, I HAVE to climb up and do my best. Ick.
Bathrooms are right up there with dusting anything. I do not like to dust!!
I hate cleaning behind the toilets and under the stove.
My favorite room to clean is the kitchen: There is nothing like a clean, sanitized kitchen to start prepping for a delicious meal!

Least Favorite: Dusting. EW. Dust is just everywhere that cleaning needs to be done. Although a close second is cleaning the plastic sill pieces at the bottom of the windows and the inside of sliding door tracks.

Dishes. Hate washing dishes. I also don’t have a dishwasher. Aside from that maybe in the cracks of the couch where legos and crumbs always end up.

My home office is my least favorite place to clean. Since I spend most of my indoor waking hours in there, it’s just the teensiest bit cluttered.

My least favorite place to clean is the bathrooms. I feel like they are consistantly dirty so if I do a deep clean today, they will be just nasty again tomorrow and it will be a waste of time. UGH. ..my favorite its my kids closets. Seeing how much they’ve grown from season to season just boggles my mind sometimes. Its bittersweet.
I love a good spring cleaning! My favorite place is the kitchen and bathrooms. They are both places, used so frequently, that I feel need a good wipe down every day, and a major clean 1-2x a week. I do the so-called “spring clean” of these rooms at least once a month.
My least favorite is dusting. I swear it’s such a waste of time in my house. I can do the whole house, look at where I started not even an hour before, and it’s just as dusty AGAIN!
I am looking forward to giving my house a good spring cleaning this year. The spot I absolutely hate to clean is the bathrooms.
I have to was blinds and curtains my full bathroom floor is white I hate it but it has to be cleaned.
I would have to say that, besides my cats’ litter box, my least favorite place in the house to clean is the wall tiles in the bathroom. There are just so many, so many grooves, and it goes so high! It can take 20-30 minutes to scrub them, sweating and grunting the whole time, and when I rinse them off I find spots I’ve missed or I’ll come back a couple days later and they look dirty again. I think I would pay someone just to clean my bathroom. Heck, I’d pay someone just to clean the dang tiles!
My least favorite place(s) to clean is our spare bedroom and the closets. I’m always a little amazed at all the junk we collect over time.
My least favorite place to clean is the cooking hood and the tiles on the wall around the cooker.
I enjoy cleaning windows :) Let the fresh air come in – even in winter ! It gives me an immediate sense of bright and sparkly.

My least favorite is the bathroom! The smell of the cleaners is horrible!
I LOVE cleaning and painting baseboards and doors. It makes a room instantly cleaner!
