I’m a wife. I’m a mom. And I don’t like to clean! With a house full of boys, though, cleaning is inevitable. That's why I've made it my mission to find the best organizing and cleaning tips. Hopefully, those tips will help us spend less time cleaning and more time with the ones we love.

Credit for this one goes to Tammi Kiser, author of Smart Martha’s Catholic Guide for Busy Moms:
Instead of a fitted sheet, make an extremely simple “bag” this way: take a circle/square/rectangle of cloth, sew a drawstring all the way around (or, like me, use your iron/stitch witchery and avoid the sewing), and voila! A piece of cloth that lies flat while playing, but can be literally picked up as its own drawstring bag and hung somewhere until it’s needed again! This works for all sorts of toys…
We just flip the car road map rug over to the white sticky side and then bend the edges up to funnel legos back into their bin. Takes 10 seconds. Of course, there are often stragglers, but they are much easier to spot and not so overwhelming for my 4 year old to clear away.
