Christmas is my favorite time of year! Cleaning gets put in maintenance mode and organizing goes in a completely different direction. Any organization I focus on is related to the Christmas season!
That’s why when I came across a few advent calendars on pinterest recently, I knew I had to get the ideas organized!
Here are the most creative Advent Calendars I’ve seen in recent days:

Do you countdown the days using an advent calendar? More importantly, what kind of activities do you do each day?
P.S. I already had this post written and scheduled before I found out about my friend Amanda’s ebook, Truth in the Tinsel: An Advent Experience for Little Hands. I’ve already mentioned that if you want to help your kids meditate on and learn the real story of Jesus’ birth this Christmas, this book is for you! There are step-by-step instructions on activities you can do, scripture passages to read and crafts to make with your little ones. Plus the supply list and directions are super easy to follow which is imperative during this busy time of year! I can’t recommend this resource highly enough. I wish I had seen your post before I just made my advent calender! They are all awesome!! I love to create & sew. I looked at the supplies I had in my fabric pile & went from there! It changed as I went along. We have 3 kids so we needed something that could hold 3 “gifts” for each day! Now I just have to fill the pockets! I am going to try to post a picture but not sure it this will work! :)
