31 Days to Make Cleaning a Habit

in 31 Days to Make Cleaning a Habit

I’ve told you many times that I don’t like to clean. Unfortunately, it has to be done.

All. the. time.

At least it seems.

My personality lends itself towards the creative side so I am perfectly OK with messy. However, I’ve noticed that my creativity actually stalls when things around me are in disarray but it flourishes when my surroundings are clean, organized, and put together.

It’s quite an anomaly!

Since I’d prefer to do just about anything other than clean (and I’m assuming you share the same sentiment), I’ve really paid attention to how naturally clean and organized people function.

To them it seems so simple…it’s just their way of life.

But for someone who doesn’t have it all together, becoming clean and organized has to become a HABIT.

In honor of the Nester’s 31 Days of Change, I’ve put together a series called 31 Days to Make Cleaning a Habit. Each day I’ll share a very simple change you can incorporate into your routine to make your home a cleaner place to live.

Each tip will be fairly easy. Most will be extremely simple. But when you incorporate all 31 together, it will make a huge impact in your life and home!

Just implement each change for the following 31 days and then slowly add the next habit. By the end of the series, you’ll be filled with awe when looking at your sparkling clean home!

Check back daily or follow along by getting free updates sent straight to your inbox.

I’ll be working to develop these habits right along with you. I’m excited to join you on this journey!

I’m a wife. I’m a mom. And I don’t like to clean! With a house full of boys, though, cleaning is inevitable. That's why I've made it my mission to find the best organizing and cleaning tips. Hopefully, those tips will help us spend less time cleaning and more time with the ones we love.

I really love this you sound like me I hate hate hate to clean. This is one of mine and my husbands favorite subject to fight about, I always tell him I’m sorry but you didn’t marry Suzie home maker. I’m going to try these 31 days to see if I can make them a habit

Is there a list that has all the items that need to be done to be done daily? I could use a list to post as a reminder.

I just found you on facebook. I would love to get a print out of this 31 days of cleaning. Is there anyway you can send it to me. With work and 3 kids 10, 8, 5 with all their activities it’s getting harder and harder to stay motivated. I would love to read this series. I just printed out your spring cleaning checklist and want to get started with that as well. Thanks for the great tips.
