Creative Ways to Promote Your Blog

in bloggy fun

iDreamofClean was started shortly after Blissdom 2010 so it should be no surprise that I’m looking forward to attending again in January! Since iDreamofClean is still new, I certainly don’t want my business card to get lost in the middle of 500 other cards. So, you know my favorite kitchen tool I’ve mentioned, oh, at least a time or two? Well, I’m now using a Kitchen Pan Scraper as my business card. Pretty creative, eh?

Want to Know Where I Got It?

I worked with  4Imprint to get the pan scrapers and have the iDreamofClean logo printed on them. And, I must say, they were extremely easy to work with! After submitting my logo I received a proof soon after. Then a week or two later I was happily surprised to see the delivery man. Easy! 4imprint has even sent a few other samples my way and, as a blogger, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting their newsletter. How often can you say that? You know how some bloggers are able to post about the most obscure holidays like “Clean Your Desk Week”? Well, 4imprint sends a list of all those holidays in their monthly newsletter. So, sign up today and you’ll never run out of post ideas again!

Creative Ways to Promote Your Blog

In order to get your creative juices flowing I went through 4imprint’s catalog so I could suggest a few items for your consideration when promoting your blog. I focused on a few niche blogs but the possibilities are almost endless so make sure to check out the website yourself.

Do you have a Cooking Blog?

1. Spatula 2. Measuring Spoon 3. Bag Clip 4. Cookie Cutter

Ideas to consider when promoting a  Kids Blog?

5. Package of Crayons or a Fun Crayon

What about a Scrapbooking or Craft Blog?

6. Stencil

Frugal or Money Saving Blog

7. Calculator

What about a Fitness or Health Blog?

8. Jump Rope 9. Stability Ball (this could get pretty expensive depending on how many your buy…but, you’d be remembered!)

How would this work for an Animal or Pet Blog?

10. Plastic Bag Dispenser

I just thought these items from 4imprint were cute and might give you some creative ideas to promote your blog. Now that you have your thinking cap on, what would be the ideal “business card” for your blog? Oh,and if you are going to Blissdom let me know in the comments! We have to meet up!

I’m a wife. I’m a mom. And I don’t like to clean! With a house full of boys, though, cleaning is inevitable. That's why I've made it my mission to find the best organizing and cleaning tips. Hopefully, those tips will help us spend less time cleaning and more time with the ones we love.

We met briefly at the OAMM Tweet Up, and I got a pan scraper. I use it all the time, and it reminds me to stop by here, too!

I love my scraper, too! Best invention!

I’ll be at the Wisdom Workshop on Wednesday at Blissdom, but can’t stay for the whole conference. It’s my first blogging conference, I’m really looking forward to it. Hope to see you (and your scrapers) there!
