Do you have hand towels or guest towels? There’s a difference, you know.
Hand towels probably look very much like bath towels…just smaller. Family members, guests, and pretty much everyone is allowed to use a hand towel to dry their hands after washing. They are probably thrown in the wash with the other towels every once in a while.
Guest towels, on the other hand, are only for guests. You know the ones. Family members are not allowed to touch them! They’re fancy. They have lace, embroidery, beads, or other adornments. They probably even match the shower curtain!
Oh, and you can tell “guest” towels are never washed! Why? Because that may make them look used! Hmmm….shouldn’t you want your guest towels to be used?
How many of you have used a guest towel like this to dry your hands in someone else’s home? I know I have! What does that mean? They DO get used…just not washed.
Well, if you’re someone who likes to have those pretty, matching guest towels on the towel rack, Kleenex has come out with a solution made just for you! A single-use, disposable bathroom hand towel! You can keep those towels in pristine condition yet still allow your guests to feel like they are welcome to dry their hands. With a germ free towel I might add!
Of course, if you have kids around, formal guest towels may be a foreign concept to you! Well, those Kleenex designers thought of everything. Just flip the Kleenex Hand Towel box upside down and use it on the bathroom towel rack. Those little ones can grab a new, fresh towel with every hand washing.
Speaking of kids, if you’ve been teaching your kids to wash their hands after using the bathroom, you may want to make up a cute song to help them remember. Or, just use this one!
So I’d love to know, do you use guest towels or hand towels?

How very smart of Kleenex to come up with these! I have been to people’s homes before where they had guest towels all wrapped up with raffia and silk flowers and topped with loads of dust. I looked around and wondered what I was supposed to dry my hands on!
