Here’s a quick tip for removing dog, cat, or any other type of pet hair from upholstery.
Put on a rubber glove (you know, like the kind you use to wash dishes) and rub away. You can easily reach those hard to reach places with your fingers.
You can have the hairless couch or chair you’ve always wanted with minimal work! How’s that for a frugal and easy tip?!
Now a question for you. Have you ever tried this method of removing pet hair from furniture? Or do have another way that works just as well?

I’m a wife. I’m a mom. And I don’t like to clean! With a house full of boys, though, cleaning is inevitable. That's why I've made it my mission to find the best organizing and cleaning tips. Hopefully, those tips will help us spend less time cleaning and more time with the ones we love.

great tip!! i need this one with my shedding 4 year old lab!!
although i do think it would be easier if i just could not give into puppies cute little eyes and stop getting dogs!!
I use the Flylady’s Rubber Scrubber (www.flylady.net). Works really well too. I like this tip with the gloves. Very easy!

Great tip! I don’t have any pets right now that get hair on the furniture. I just have a guinea pig. But when we did have a dog, I used to use clear packaging tape to remove it. But I think your rubber glove idea would work better.

Great tip for removing pet hair from upholstery! It really works, too!
No better time to try this than today… I washed the cover we keep on the couch and before I could get it back on there, the cats had deposited quite a bit o’fur. I’m skeptical (because it seems like nothing works on pet hair) but I am heading to the kitchen for some gloves and the living room to put this into action! Thanks for sharing!
