I cook everything with high heat. Mostly because I’m impatient. Plus, when I’m hungry, I’m HUNGRY!
The food still tastes good but it causes a bit of a problem for my pots and pans! There’s always food stuck on them. And by stuck…I mean burned on!
Since I like to clean the kitchen in 5 minutes or less, I can’t let a little stuck on food slow me down. So, I have a secret weapon! The Pampered Chef Pan scraper! (I’m pretty sure other companies make these too.) Seriously, this thing works like a charm!
The straight edge isn’t sharp but it can scrape anything off of a pan.
The 90 degree angle is perfect for corners.
The round edges can scrape just about anything off of the curved areas.
This pan scraper is seriously a genius invention!
The best part…it only cost about $1.75! Worth every penny!
Do you have a pan scraper? Have you used it for anything other than pots and pans?

I use this tool all the time. I scrap yucky stuff off the table and counters. It works like a charm. LOVE it!!!
I love my nylon pan scrapers too! I also have this really handy scraper/brush from Pampered Chef that I use every single day. Like Kelly said, I too scrape yucky stuff from counters and sometimes the table with it. Good tip. I like your site. I’m going to follow you.

I wish I thought to bring mine with me in our move (I always have to mention we live in Scotland, but all these posts remind me that we are not “home.”) Anyway, great, creative use!
I have a pot scrubber……..it is a no longer used credit card. Man, does it work like a charm. I love it.

That’s a fantastic idea!
I forget about this tool all the time. It would come in especially handy now that I have two small boys and our table gets coated with things on a regular basis! :)

I LOVE my scraper. I’ve use it all the time. My favorite second use it to scrape my stove top off. I can’t cook without food caking to my stove top.

Me either! You’d think that the food would stay inside the pans but apparently I get it all over the stove. Glad to know I’m not alone :-)
That’s a great tip! I’ve never heard of a pan scrubber and that price just can’t be beat. If I have something that’s really stuck, and a hot water/soap soak doesn’t work, I boil some water & baking soda inside – it usually does the trick.
Thanks for visiting on WFMW. I’m glad you found me, because I love this blog! I’m always looking for cleaning tips – time is a limited resource, so any tricks are welcome! I’ll definitely be following closely :)
Thanks for the great cleaning tips!

They are fantastic to use for applying vinyl lettering.
I have TONS of these as I have a millions pieces of stoneware. LOVE THEM! Use them all the time and even make sure I take one on vacation with me when we’re staying at a condo.

Oddly enough my dad’s insurance agency used to give these out to customers all the time so I would always steal some from his office. Now that he has sold out, I am holding onto the one I have with dear life :)
What a FUN giveaway idea!!
I got one of these for free at the county fair…lol
We have one of those…and my husband loves it! Very handy!
Oh I LOVE mine too! I use it all the time!
I also use it to scrape off the unknown yuckies that seem to always be on our table after meals. My little ones are still ultra messy…
